JOHN CUMMISKEY RACING “BACK HOME AGAIN” FOR INDY GRAND PRIX

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (May 5th, 2015) – While a trip to race at Indianapolis is always a special experience, this weekend’s Grand Prix of Indianapolis double-header is a homecoming for John Cummiskey, and the Brownsburg, Indiana based John Cummiskey Racing team, it also marks the 1-year anniversary of the team’s first race in 2014.

“It’s great to be back at our home race. This is where we ran our first event last year and it’s just an awesome race track to come to. Anthony has been doing a great job and we are looking forward to continuing the momentum from Barber”, said Cummiskey.

Looking to build on momentum following a string of five Top-5 finishes, culminating with 2nd at Barber Motorsports Park on April 26th, Anthony Martin and JCR look to make that final step towards the top step on the podium in Rounds 7 and 8 of the 2015 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda season at Indianapolis.

Martin, who will be making his Indianapolis Motor Speedway debut in the #33 Burgess BLA Mazda powered entry beginning with open testing, May 6th, 2015, had this to say regarding turning his first laps at the famed Brickyard.

“I’m excited to run at the Brickyard, a track with over 100 years of racing history including INDYCAR and Formula 1. We had a great weekend at Barber with a podium result and I’m working hard to continue to learn the Cooper Tires and the car each session”, said Martin.

The weekend continues with two 30 minute practice sessions Thursday May 7th, followed by qualifying Friday May 8th at 9:30AM and followed with Race 1 scheduled for 1:00PM. Drivers will line up again Saturday May 9th to cap off the doubleheader weekend with Race 2 set for 10:30 AM.
