JOHN CUMMISKEY RACING HEADS TO THE STREETS OF TORONTO

Brownsburg, Ind. (July 11, 2016) – John Cummiskey Racing hits the road again this weekend, heading north to Toronto for Rounds 10-11 of the Team Cooper Tire USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda.

The 11-turn, 1.755-mile temporary street course that winds around Exhibition Place is a start contrast to the last time the USF2000 cars took to the track at the natural road course at Road America in Wisconsin two weeks ago. This will mark only the second time the USF2000 cars have raced on a street circuit this season, having opened the campaign on the streets of St. Petersburg (Fla.) back in March.

Ayla Agren, driver of the No. 33 Energima car, has some experience with the Toronto circuit, having competed there in the USF2000 series events in 2015, picking up finishes of P7 and P9. Earlier this season at St. Pete, the 23-year-old native of Norway posted finishes of P10 and P13.

Since then, Agren has six Top-10 finishes in her last seven races and posted a Mazda Road To Indy career-best fourth-place finish in Race 2 at Road America on June 25.

The 2016 season opener at St. Pete was a new experience for Lucas Kohl, who pilots the No. 34 Bellko Trading car, as the then-17-year-old had never before raced on a street course. After starting and finishing P23 in Round 1, his first-ever race in the Team Cooper Tire USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda series, he improved nine positions the next day in Round 2 to come home P14.

The young Brazilian has shown he is getting more and more comfortable in the car, as he has posted three Top-10 finishes (Indy GP1, Indy GP2, Lucas Oil Raceway) in his last five events.
