JOHN CUMMISKEY RACING DRIVERS SOAK UP NOLA

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (April 17, 2015) – Australian driver Jordan Lloyd finished 5th and 6th in the JCR #94 Mazda powered entry at NOLA Motorsports Park in ever changing conditions. Starting 4th in race 1, Lloyd lost one position to finish 5th. In a very wet race 2, Lloyd started 5th and finished 6th along side teammate Martin after a late slid off. “I’m still working on understanding how hard I can push the Cooper slick tires in the first race”. “Race 2 was really tough to see and there was lots of standing water to deal with, the Cooper rain tires worked great for me”. “I would really like to thank the team for giving me a great car all weekend” said Lloyd.

Australian driver Anthony Martin finished 16th and 5th in the BLA Burgess #33 Mazda powered entry at NOLA. Starting 5th and running 5th on the last lap restart, Martin was hit from behind and knocked out of contention. Starting 10th in wet conditions, Martin charged to as high as 4th in race 2 until a late spin put him back into 5th just ahead of teammate Lloyd. Martin did win the Tilton Hard Charger award for his efforts. “We are working hard to close the gap to the second year drivers. I’m feeling more comfortable every time I drive the car. The team did a great job fixing the car after the race 1 incident and I learned more on the Cooper wet tires in a tough race 2. I really want to thank the folks at Burgess for helping me out so much” said Martin.

JCR now moves to the next round at Barber Motorsports Park, April 24-26 as a single car team with Anthony Martin set to pilot the #33 entry for the team. JCR’s second entry is currently an ‘OPEN SEAT’ as the team is in search of a funded driver to round out the remaining events on the 2015 schedule in the #34 entry.
